Impact Beyond the Classroom

Ideally located in the nation’s capital, George Washington University’s Doctoral Program in Curriculum and Instruction prepares education leaders to improve preK–16+ education in local, national, and international settings. The coursework encourages critical thought and creative work through focusing on curriculum, instruction, and research, with additional courses and learning opportunities that link teaching and learning, policy, and evaluation to students’ prior experiences. Students can meet national leaders in education and participate in internships that expand horizons. The San Diego State University (SDSU) online MA in Educational Leadership is a program for teachers, teacher leaders, and administrators wanting to lead the technology revolution and the move to using technology in ways that innovate and reimagine teaching and learning. It’s designed for educators aspiring to be leaders who also understand technology integration at the classroom, school, or district level. The SDSU College of Education is ranked 65 in the nation among thousands of universities and colleges. Professors from SDSU’s Department of Educational Leadership are world renown for their work in leadership, instruction, and education technology integration. The program runs from May 2017 through August 2018 with ten courses spread over two summers and two semesters. The cost is $17,940. Online Computer Science Courses

Oracle Academy’s online program helps teachers earn the certification needed to teach high school computer science courses. The academy offers four courses that introduce database programming and the Java programming language—Java Fundamentals, Java Programming, Database Design and Programming with SQL, and Programming with PL/SQL.
