Twig Science Next Gen is a preK–8 STEM program built to address the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). The program provides comprehensive coverage of 3D science standards through engaging hands-on and digital investigations in which students take on the roles of real-world scientists and engineers.
The US Departmentof Education has launched CTE Mission: CubeSat, a national challenge to inspire high school students to build technical skills for careers in space and beyond. Students from across the country are invited to design and build prototypes of CubeSats (cube satellites), or satellites that aid in space research, bringing space missions out of the clouds and into the classroom.
Parents and children will find a wide variety of engaging camp activities to take part in when they dive into Camp Wonderopolis. Some of the activities revolve around STEM-field careers, others are designed to boost literacy and comprehension, and still others to help foster and improve critical thinking and creativity in young minds.
Camp Invention, a program of the National Inventors Hall of Fame (NIHF), in partnership with the United States Patent and Trademark Office, provides a unique experience for youth to make discoveries about the importance of intellectual property while exploring, creating, and designing. The program promotes STEM learning; builds leadership, perseverance, and resourcefulness; and encourages entrepreneurship.
