As cyberattack incidents continue to appear globally, largely attributed to the pandemic’s push for digitization, millions of people are recognizing the importance of strong education programs and cybersecurity fluency. In response to these emerging needs, Novus Consulting Group launched a Cyber Citizenship course this summer. Developed by experts in the cybersecurity industry and in partnership with CareerNet, the 10-module, 30-hour course prepares students in grades 7–12 with cyber etiquette skills by informing them of ways to protect personal identity, school data, home devices, and all networks. Students follow four characters as they face challenges encountered by users of social media, smartphone, internet, and enterprise platforms. Quizzes, individual and group projects, as well as video and audio, reinforce important concepts toward interim learning goals and ultimately Cyber Citizen certification. The course is designed for Android and iPhone and may be administered by teachers via simple ATS. Available in English and Arabic, the course may additionally be configured to meet cultural, school system, and regional needs. As the cybersecurity field continues to evolve, the content of the course will stay updated to reflect the latest trends and threats. Cost: $200.00 for smartphone-based course
