Co-launched by the National Dairy Council and National Football League, Fuel Up to Play 60 brings together students, educators, NFL players, farmers, and influencers, all working to build stronger and healthier communities. The program offers classroom-ready resources, funding opportunities, ideas, and inspiration for working together to teach students the importance of a healthy body, mind, and planet.
Resources built with input from educators across the nation include The Playbook, which offers a variety of activities and initiatives—like a roadmap—on how teachers and students can make healthful, sustainable change happen in their schools.
The Homeroom provides curriculum-aligned lesson plans with a focus on STEM, agriculture, and SEL topics. The Homeroom also has educational and entertaining videos, handouts, and worksheets to help supplement any healthy living or sustainability lesson that a teacher may be presenting.
Plus: Throughout the year, schools can apply for funding and/or equipment from Fuel Up to Play 60 to support their school’s wellness goals. Up to $4,000 per year is available to qualified K–12 schools enrolled in Fuel Up to Play 60 to jumpstart healthful choices. The next application period will open in the spring of 2022.
