Latinos for Education is the first Latino-founded and Latino-led national organization solely dedicated to creating leadership pathways for Latinos in education. The organization provides fellowships for aspiring Latino leaders and Latinx Teachers, primarily in Massachusetts, Houston, New York City, and the San Francisco Bay Area.
Latinos for Education also offers a fellowship for adult relatives of school-aged children to participate in a leadership development program, Familias Latinas Por La Educación (Latino Family Education). Participants engage through in-person instruction and gain access to resources, tools, and frameworks grounded in best practices they can incorporate into their leadership.
In addition, educators in the Latinos for Education network can contribute to Con Ganas We Can, a blog with insights and stories that spotlight a diverse group of Latino leaders working in schools, districts, and other education organizations. The blog includes viewpoints on Latino leadership in education and highlights the work of Latino leaders collectively pursuing a more equitable education for students across the country.
