Educators and students are invited to join members of the DigCitCommit Coalition and education communities worldwide on February 11 and 12, 2020, for a freeVirtual Congress that will connect them with other students and educators who are successfully modeling the five competences of digital citizenship—inclusive, informed, engaged, balanced, alert. These competences are designed to focus less on a list of “don’t”s and more on a proactive approach of “do”s that challenge students to stay safe, solve problems, and become a positive force in the digital world. The two-day event will feature inspiring keynote speakers, youth leaders and educator presenters, lightning rounds on each of the DigCitCommit competences, and spotlights of successful digcit initiatives. Teachers can view the ever-growing speaker lineup, browse the schedule-at-a-glance, and register online for this freeVirtual Congress.
