The Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning (CASEL) works to advance the practice of promoting integrated academic, social, and emotional learning for all children in preschool through high school. CASEL offers an up-to-date clearinghouse of tools drawn from the worlds of scholarly research, on-the-ground practice, and cutting-edge policy. The tools include practical guides, program reviews, videos, webinars, books, articles, and position papers on a wide range of topics—developed by CASEL staff and consultants, its district partners, and its many other collaborators. CASEL’s District Resource Center offers field-tested guidance, tools, and resources for SEL implementation throughout a district. It contains more than 500 tools and artifacts used in the 10 districts in CASEL’s Collaborating Districts Initiative. The CASEL Guide identifies and rates well-designed, evidence-based SEL programs that are being used by a growing number of schools across the country. Two editions of the guide are available at no cost—one for preschool and elementary school; one for middle and high school.
