Award Honoring Librarians for Outstanding Service to Children
The Distinguished Service Award honors an Association for Library Service to Children (ALSC) member who has made significant contributions to or impact on library services for children, and directly to ALSC. Nominees may be practicing librarians in a school or public library, a library or information science educator, a member of the library press, an editor or other employee of a publishing house, or a retired children’s librarian. Grants of $2,000 will be awarded. Interested applicants will find additional details about this award on GetEdFunding, a website sponsored by CDW•G with access to a free database of thousands of funding opportunities for educators.
