Augmented-Reality System for Inclusive Exergame Environments
Supported by the University of MichiganExercise & Sport Science Initiative, iGYM is an augmented-reality system for inclusive play and exercise. An interdisciplinary team of designers, engineers, and human-computer interaction researchers conceived the interactive floor-projection system for school and community-based sport or recreation facilities seeking to provide novel and accessible ways for people with different levels of mobility to play and exercise together. The researchers are currently looking for partners to further develop the system.
