Each month we publish blogs and several newsletters full of digital learning, funding, professional growth, social media, and STEM resources. Below are items from our blogs and newsletters that educators turned to the most in February.

GlobalCOLab offers a unique opportunity for students to tackle global issues that are affecting their communities. Students choose a topic, propose and test a lab activity, and publish their results for peers to review.

BLOSSOMS (Blended Learning Open Source Science or Math Studies), created by MIT, engages students with STEM subjects by connecting math and science to the real world. Educators and professionals contribute to an open database of 50-minute lessons that include videos, teachers' guides, handouts, and additional resources.

Engare combines mathematics, art, and technology through a puzzle-like drawing game. Players trace shapes in an effort to match a target glyph or create their own unique geometric drawings to export as images or 3D models.

Author and blogger Tom Whitby asks whether technology and learning are actually compatible. He explores the topic of what determines whether an educator is really a user of edtech and how it impacts the students they teach.

The Center for Engineering Education and Outreach at Tufts University partnered with educators to create Novel Engineering, a program that uses classroom literature as the basis for engineering design challenges. Tufts TEEP (Teacher Engineering Education Program) offers an online course for K—12 educators on integrating engineering and literacy.
